It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Mary Doherty (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Francis Doherty; her parents, Daniel Shortall and Annie Shortall (Connors); her daughter-in-law Linda Doherty; her grandson Jason Doherty; her siblings, Helen Bushey (Manuel), Ruth Grattan (George), James Shortall (Mabel) and Raymond Shortall; and her brothers-in-law, William Wood and Thomas Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Maureen Murray (Tom), Daniel (Sandra), David (Connie) and Dennis (Laura); her grandchildren, Tangelene Ramsey (Scott), Cary Norquay (Rod), Ryan Doherty, Denny Doherty, Joseph Doherty and Simon Doherty; her stepgrandchildren, Kerrie Hallett (Jason), Stephanie Murray, Rob Murray and Scott Murray; her siblings, Mary Wood, Kay Brown and Paul Shortall (Mary); and her sister-in-law Phyllis Shortall. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
