She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregory McCann and Josephine McCann (Shields). She is survived by: her daughter Helena McCann (Anthony); her grandchildren, Jordis and Jessie Wilson; her siblings, William McCann (Karen), Jack McCann, Ellen Dunphy (Brent) and Lorne McCann; her nieces, Jessica, Karah and Grace; and her aunt Laverne Doak (Dick).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or to the MS Society.
