He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Steele (Dykens); and his uncles, Freeman, Judd, Bob, Noble and John Dykens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Dykens (Marlene), Curtis Dykens, Glendon Dykens, Marlene Steele and Doreen Barnaby; his stepdaughter Carrie Anne MacAllister (Robert); and his grandchild Tamara-Lynn Colson.
