He was predeceased by: his wife Nora Dwyer (Norman); and his siblings, Michael, Edward (Finnie), Bernard Dwyer (Bun), Mary Rodriguez, Reese San Augustine and Florence Clancey.
He is survived by: his son Michael Dwyer (Tammy) of Oromocto; his grandchildren, Austin, Bailey, Elissa, Brendon, Ryan, Dexter, Tekla, Jasmine and Jackson; his great grandchildren, Alivia and Mason; his sister Stephanie Dewling of Milton, Newfoundland; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Follett, Sara Peters (Tom), Lillian Jefford, Geri McWilliam (Bruce), Catherine Dwyer (Bun), Patricia Dwyer (Finney) and Jim Norman (Alice). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
