We bid farewell to Lela Shepherd of Fredericton, New Brunswick, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Stanley" Merrett and Annie Merrett; her daughter Amanda Shepherd (Mandy); her sister Donna Rushton; and her brothers-in-law, Ewart "Bud" Rushton and Duncan Munn.
She is survived by: her children, Richard of Fredericton, NB, Dale (Stacey) of Yoho, NB and Angie Pitre (Paul Hachey) of Sackville, NB; her siblings, Steadman Merrett (Albina) of Mission, BC, Sheila Noble (Neil) of Lincoln, NB, Deborah Munn of Fredericton, NB, Edith Warren of Fredericton, NB and Doreen Merrett of Fredericton, NB; her brother-in-law Dale Nason of Nasonworth, NB; and her granddaughters, Amber Shepherd of Fredericton, NB., Allyson Shute of Fredericton, NB. and Marissa Shepherd of Fredericton, NB.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1045 St Marys St, Fredericton, NB E3G8S7).
