He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm "Ted" and Olive Hastings (Gullison). He is survived by: his wife Susan Merrill-Hastings; his children, Jamie Sopha (Christa), Keith William Hastings and Lorrie Cook (John); his stepchildren, Jessica Rogers, David Sparkes and Sarah Sparkes; and his siblings, Steven Hastings (Lynn), John Hastings, Carolyn Mulder (Jerry), Lavona Gilmore (Gerald) and Cassandra Hastings. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and foster children.
