It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Roland Nicholson of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nicholson and Jennie Nicholson (Gorveatte); his wife Marion Nicholson (Jones); and his siblings, Garnet, Everett (Abby), Beulah, Dorothy, Jean, Betty, Marjorie and Molly.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Reissner (Len) of Fredericton, Debbie Gesner (Garret) of Fredericton and John Nicholson (Pam Wood) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Ian Reissner of Yoho Lake, Marcia Gosselin (Peter) of Fredericton, NB, Jamie Reissner (Meghan) of Fredericton, NB, Andrea Gesner (Michael Blanchard) of Calgary, AB, Emily Johnson (George) of Calgary, AB and Heather Gesner (Johnny Van Camp) of Victoria, BC; and his sister Shirley. He is also survived by Nan and Florence; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
