He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack LaPointe and Eileen LaPointe; and his granddaughter Samantha Bath. He is survived by: his daughter Michele LaPointe (Corey Bodechon); his grandson Zackary Foster; his sisters, Mary Billings (late Sherwood), Patricia Miller and Elaine Geldart (Wade); and his close friend Willow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
