He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Doherty and Blanche Doherty (Hickey); his wife Pauline; his siblings, Shirley, Theodore "Ted", James "Ned" and Evelyna; and his siblings-in-law, Betty and Lionel.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Vidito (Mike), Andrea (Troy Rathbone) and Peter (Lynn MacKay); his grandchildren, Fallon, Grayson and Rowan; his brother Patrick (Shirley); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Nicholson and Artice "Bunny" Jenkins (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in John's memory can be made to Meals on Wheels in Fredericton or a charity of choice.
