He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Dittmer and Alida Dittmer (Kattouw). He is survived by: his sister Jennifer; his wife Loretta Doak of Fredericton; his children, Johan and Jennifer; his stepdaughters, Lisa Bidlake (John Jardine) and Lori Bidlake-Pinsent (Miles Pinsent); his grandchildren, Taylor Bidlake, Tyson Pinsent and Dylan Jardine; and his siblings, Hank and Nelly.
