With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Purtill (Buckley) McQuoid (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Susannah Buckley (Buckley) and David Irvine Buckley; her husband William McQuoid (Bill); and her siblings, Geraldine, Vincent, Raymond, Victor, Roberta, Marian and Marjorie.

She is survived by: her brother Erve Buckley; her son Michael (Diane) of Kelowna; her grandchildren, Amanda of Loma Linda, CA and Brant (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Will and Nora of Denver, CO.; her daughter Heather (Paul) of Fredericton; her grandson Matt (Sarah); her great grandchild Ahna of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Andy of Edmonton and Viki (Stefan) of Winnipeg; and her niece Jane Buckley.
