He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Upshaw and Gertrude Upshaw (Pelley). He is survived by: his children, Roszena Sampson of Toronto, ON and John Burtt (Dorothy) of Keswick Ridge, NB; his siblings, Judy Upshaw (Cedric) of Kentville, NS, Linda Upshaw of Toronto, ON, Norma Upshaw of Dartmouth, NS, Dawn Upshaw of Halifax, NS, Cindy Walsh (Shawn) of Halifax, NS, Bryant Upshaw of Windsor, NS and Derrick Upshaw (Sherie) of Windsor, NS; and his pet Brandi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
