James Joseph McDonough Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, James Joseph McDonough of Fredericton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Nellie McDonough (Geneau); his parents-in-law, Rowena Pitre (Smith) and Alvin "Pete" Pitre; his siblings, Phyllis Hind, Marlene Long and Peter McDonough; his brother-in-law Terry Flanagan; and his nephew Trevor McDonough.
He is survived by: his significant other Darlene McDonough (Pitre); his children, Barb McAloon (Tom Demerson) and Brian McDonough (Michelle); his grandchildren, Harmony, Codey, Karissa and Dakota; his siblings, Frankie McDonough (Judy), Carolyn Mazerolle (Ricky), Judy Randall (Bobby), Donny McDonough, Sandra McDonough and Nancy McDonough; his siblings-in-law, Nadine Flanagan (Pitre), Nancy McDonough (Bodechon), Brian Pitre (Iris), Richard Foley and Dave Long; and his pet Lily.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (2130 Route 102, Lincoln, NB E3B8P1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
