James Earl Cleghorn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Cleghorn (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Harvey Station, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Cleghorn and Margaret Cleghorn (Holt); his wife Betty Jo Cleghorn (Smith); and his daughter Linda Armstrong. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Cleghorn (Henry) of Ottawa On, Cindy Cleghorn (Randy) of Hoyt, NB and Karen Davidson (Kirk) of Hoyt, NB; his stepsons, Ricky Coombs (Gail) of Bangor and Brian Wardwell (Karen) of Ellsworth; his grandchildren, Corey Walsh (Tara), Maggie Walsh (Rob), Eric Turner (Tammy), Kenneth Cleghorn and Adam Cleghorn; and his close friend Marlene Bell. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, as well as several cousins.
Bishop's Funeral Home staff will be on site for the visitation and service to ensure that all Covid 19 restrictions and protocols are being followed.
In lieu of flowers, the family have suggested that memorial donations in James memory may be made to the SPCA, the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
