He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Whalley and Shirley Whalley (MacDonald). He is survived by: his children, Jessica Martin (Marty) and Peter Whalley; the mother of his children Ellen Whalley (Pugh); his granddaughter Kate Martin; his brothers, Mark Whalley (Tami) and Wayne Whalley (Lorraine); his niece Julia; and his nephew Dylan.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marysville Heritage Centre (11 McGloin St, Fredericton, NB E3A4J9).
