It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ina Miriam Dassett of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Stanley, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Hilton Dunphy and Dora Josephine Dunphy (Foreman); and her brothers, Walter, Marvin and Floyd Dunphy.

She is survived by: her spouse Garnet Joseph Dassett of Fredericton, NB; her children, Cathy Sparkes (Calhoun) of Fredericton, Barry Calhoun (Trina) of Stanley and Gary Calhoun (Rhonda) of Jacksonville; her stepdaughters, Susan LaBelle (Ron) of Owen Sound, ON and Shelley Kirby (Derek) of Guelph, ON; her grandchildren, Matthew Calhoun, Brittney Trider (Dana), Jaclyn Prosser (Devon) and Josh Calhoun (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Jamie Sparkes (Nisha) and Lindsey Budovitch (Dustin); and her brother Vernon Dunphy of Boiestown.
