Horst Sauerteig Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2019, at the age of 101, Horst Sauerteig (Fredericton, New Brunswick) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Horst Sauerteig to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Sauerteig and Luise Sauerteig (Heiseler); and his daughter Carola Sauerteig. He is survived by: his wife Herta Sauerteig (Petersen); his children, Susanne Sauerteig of Hamilton, ON, Michael (Jennifer) of Fredericton, Johannes (Debbie) of Barrie, ON and Barbara Sauerteig (Jason Paikowsky) of Hamilton, ON; his brother Guenter of Bonn, Germany; and his grandchildren, Graeme (Monique), Kendra (Matthew), Jillian, Alexandra, Hannah, Eric (Katheryn), Katrina (Frank), Sam (Rachel) and Jenna (Allan). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
