It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Gertrude Gilmore (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Penniac, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie "Gertrude" Gilmore (Moore) and Percival Howe Gilmore (Percy); her siblings, Harry Gilmore (Gloria), Paul Gilmore, John Gilmore (Cathy) and Ann Hetherington (Dick); and her sisters-in-law, Connie Gilmore and Liz Gilmore.
She is survived by: her son Mark Smith (Brenda); her grandson Ben Smith (Brianne); her great grandchildren, Ava and Austin; her nieces and nephews, Tammy Albers (George), Andrew Gilmore (Kim), Garth Gilmore (Jen), Kirk Gilmore (Tara), Dawne McSorley, Jennifer McFadgen (Mitch), Kelly Richard (Jaret) and Jaclyn Killam (Jason); and her close friend Jill White (Helen).
