He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hughes and Margaret Hughes (McGinley); and his sister Linda Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hughes (MacNeil); his children, Bradley (Adriane Craft) and Jennifer (Nathan Brennan); and his siblings, Catherine (Bill Seto), Mark (Marlene Finnie), Barry (Karen Gibson) and Cyril (Amy Whytewood-Hughes). He is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
