He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet and Arthur; and his brothers, Sandy, David and Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith; his children, Andrea (Robert) and Gordon; his grandchildren, Christine (Chris) and Justin (Jihae); and his great grandchild Jinny.
