He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Raymond Flinn and Georgina Muriel Flinn (Smith); his daughters, Christine Sangster and Lana Johnson; and his siblings, Lawrence Flinn, Roy Flinn, Marie Wagg, Jimmy Flinn, Edward Flinn, Greta Bartlett, Stanley Flinn and Glenna Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Annie Logan; his sons, Duane (Marg) and Keith (Stacy); his grandchildren, Andrew Sangster, Amy Fry, Beth Moore, Patrick Flinn and Aaron Flinn; and his great grandchildren, Abby Fry and Leah Moore.
