With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Anthony MacNutt (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 30, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Philip MacNutt and Erema Arlington (Hyson); his wife Virginia Clara (Elderkin); his daughter Katherine Halder; his grandson Chandler; and his siblings, Howard, Arlene, Freda and Ruby.
He is survived by: his children, Terry-Ann Brawn (George), Alan MacNutt (Helen) of Ottawa, Michael MacNutt and David MacNutt; his grandchildren, Shelley Brawn-Clements (Jim), Ashley Brawn (Adam McKinley) of Red Deer, Melanie Brawn (Richard Stark) of Red Deer, Oliver MacNutt of Ottawa, Adam (Gil), Alynn Legere-MacNutt (Dylan) and Danielle MacNutt; and his great grandchild Landen McKinley. He is also survived by children and extended family.
Gil had the gift to talk so when Covid struck us all in different ways the isolation was not what he needed.
