He was predeceased by: his parents, Conelius Sneekes and Catherine Sneekes (Boon); his wife Eva Sneekes (Betjes); his siblings, Albert, Cornelius, Theo, John, Simon Sneekes, Ans (Marius), Boss, Riet Bentjes (Kees) and Nellie; and his brother-in-law John Arisz.
He is survived by: his family Gerry; his children, Susan Horner (Mike) of Victoria, BC, Caroline Fry (Rodney) of Fredericton and David Sneekes of Fredericton; his sisters, Wilma Arisz of Sussex, Toos Bakkum (Jacob) of Oss and Arcadia Hullsmann of Essen, Germany; his grandchildren, Danielle Micacchi (Taylor), Kathleen Moore (Mikhail), Sarah Melnyk, Ashley Rossignol (Patrick) and Spencer Fry (Holly); his great grandchildren, Cole, Leni, Luke, Evan, Isla, Nathaniel, Elisabeth, Miriam, Joseph and Matthew; his nephew Marcus; and his sisters-in-law, Corrie, Irma, Athie and Annie Sneekes of Holland.
