Gerald Avery Covey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Avery Covey of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Covey and Emma Covey (Defreytas); his wife June; his grandson Eric Covey; his siblings, Viola Naugle, Audrey Coles, Wilfrid Covey and Clarence Covey Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Wade and Jean Flemming.
He is survived by: his children, Heather of Saint John, NB, Stephen (Pascale) of Montreal, QC and Gregory of Harvey Station, NB; his grandchildren, Michael O'Donnell, Nicholas O'Donnell, Kieran Hamilton, Alexandra Covey, Justine Covey, Rene Covey, Elyssa Covey and Fiona Hamilton; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Rowe (Ronald) and Marilyn Hicks (William). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
