He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley; his children, Barbara (Gilles), Brian (Jennifer) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Cecilia, Adam and Jaden; his parents, Oswald Merrithew and Effie Merrithew (Fox); his siblings, Lorne Merrithew and Louise Warman; and his former wife Marie Merrithew (MacDonald).
