He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Jenny Smith (Stevens); and his sisters, Mildred Nauss (Cliff), Ruth Clayton (Fred), Virginia Dennis (Russel) and Elizabeth Raddysh.

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Smith (Meredith). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, any support for the refugees in the Ukraine would be, greatly appreciated by the family.
