He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ronnie and Michael; his niece Kate MacLeod; his sister-in-law Ruth Marshall; and his mother-in-law Helen Flinn.
He is survived by: his mother Alma McDade (Crowley); his wife Helen Marie McDade (Flinn); his father Bud McDade; his siblings, James (Gerrie) of Mississauga, Frank (Lori) of Quispamsis, Terry and Mary MacLeod of McAdam; and his siblings-in-law, Lori Brewer (Larry) of York Mills, Walter Flinn (Nancy), Laurie Flinn (Sandra), Gary Flinn (Alice), Bill Flinn, Robert Marshall, Kay Hansen (Dave Long) and Joyce Harvey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
