He was predeceased by: his parents, Perley Flower and Dora Flower (Fidler); his former wife Diane; and his sister Donna Marek (Chester). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Flower (Hebb); his children, Jodi Flower (Michael MacNeill) and Peter Flower (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Mallory Dykeman (Chris), Shane Dykeman (Kara), Erica (Joel) and Sydney Flower; his sister Bonnie Johnston (Irvine); his stepchildren, Michelle Pugh (Jerry) and Michael Palmer (Sheila); his stepgrandchildren, Jenaya, Kiera Pugh, Matthew, Riley, Caleb and Ava Palmer; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Logan, Charlene Irving (David), Donna Lamb (Glen) and Ian Logan (Liz). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
For those who choose to remember Gary by way of a charitable donation and in lieu of flowers, the family have suggested Faith Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
