He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Stewart and Mildred Stewart (Spencer); and his siblings, Harley Stewart (Doreen), Zola Carr and Deanna Gaston.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Stewart (Murphy); his children, Kevin (Kerry), Stephen, Marilyn (Terry), Angela (Guy), Beth, Sam, James and Heather; his siblings, Stanley Stewart (Sereta), Paula Hovey (Robert), Mona Moram (Ron) and Sandra Ferris (Tom); his grandchildren, Jacob, Kallee, Clayton, Alex, Noah, Amanda, Michael, Callum and Chloe; and his great grandchild Jaxon.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no visitation.
