He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Hunter and Susan Hunter (Boies); his grandsons, Michael and Kyle; and his siblings, Helen Bruce, Doris Doak, Blaine Hunter and Percy Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Hunter (Black); his children, Susan Spencer (Morton) of Parker Ridge, Boyd Hunter (Janice) of Nanaimo, BC and Grant Hunter (Crystal) of Fredericton; and his siblings, Elizabeth Spencer of Woodstock, Bertie Hunter of Fredericton and Stanley Hunter (Joy) of Yoho Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
