He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Long (Larlee) of Eden's Retirement Villa; his parents, Garnet Long and Elizabeth Long (Beek); and his siblings, Catherine Calhoun and Donald Long.
He is survived by: his son Gregory Long; his granddaughter Stephanie Swain (Noel); his great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Mackenzie and Jasmine; and his siblings, Jim Long (Roberta), Jean Johnson and Raymond Long. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
