Frederick Duncan Wood Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2021, at the age of 82, Frederick Duncan Wood (Fredericton, New Brunswick) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Duncan Wood to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fayne Wood and Roma "Dolly" Wood (Duncan); his brother Keith Wood; his parents-in-law, Donald and Dorothy Gray; his nephew Andy King; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon King, Robert Gray and Bernice Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Wood (Gray); his son Jeffrey Wood; his daughter-in-law Susan; his daughter Carolyn Wood; his son-in-law Arturo Mena Perez of Halifax, NS; his brother Edward Wood (Linda) of Lake Echo, NS; his grandchildren, Matthew Maclagan of Halifax, NS, Blaze of Halifax, NS and Slade Wood of Halifax, NS; and his siblings-in-law, Janet King of Pembroke, NB, James Gray of Pembroke, NB and Edward Gallagher (Marjorie) of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In April 2018, Fred went into LTC with Shannex in Frederick Hall starting the final stages of his glorious life where he passed peacefully on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2021, in Neill Hall, surrounded by his family in one way or another given current COVID-19 restrictions.
