With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Eloise Anderson (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Freda Eloise Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Shipley and Eloise Shipley (McKay); her husband Earle D. Anderson; her brothers, Eldon, Wylie, Laurie and Cecil Shipley; and her grandson Paul Anderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Allister (Hanwell) and Rodger (Sylvia) of Charters Settlement; her grandchildren, June DeMerchant (Paul) of Fredericton, Michael Anderson (Wanda) of London, ON, Karen Miller (Rockland) of Charters Settlement and Teena Merrithew (Tim) of Fredericton; and her great grandchildren, Katie MacMackin (William), Laura Renault (Sam), Robert DeMerchant (Marissa), Peter Gwen, Clair Anderson, Thomas Miller (Holly), Jenna Richards (Mike), Jessica McCafferty (Brandon) and Leigh-Anna MacDougall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid 19 concerns, a private family graveside service will be held in the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
