She was predeceased by: her parents, James Guiggey and Edith Guiggey (Brewer); her husband Amasa Staples; her son Dean (Ruth); her great grandchild Morgan Elizabeth Staples; and her siblings, Wilmot, John, Maggie, Nellie, Gladys, Almina, Amber, Violet and Christina.
She is survived by: her sons, Murray Staples (Norma) of Zealand, NB and Ewart Staples (Sheila) of Zealand, NB; her brother Floyd Guiggey (Lillian); her grandchildren, Cheryl, Patty, Calvin, Kevin, Chad, John and Crystal; and her niece Jocelyn Brewer (Skip). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
