He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd and Meta (Anderson); his wife Caroline; and his siblings, Henry, Kenneth, Helen, Gordon and Burton.

He is survived by: his children, Andrea Price (Christopher) of Lake George, NB, Todd Swanson (Lori Sears) of St. John's, NL and Jennifer Swanson of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Ryan Price of Lake George, Justin Price of Fredericton, Joshua Price (Maddison Hannah) of Fredericton, Matthew Price of Lake George, NB and Emmy Swanson of St. Johns, NL.; and his brother Max Swanson (Margaret Ann) of Harvey, NB. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
