She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Cookson; her parents, Laughlin Plume and Winnifred Plume (MacKinnon); her brothers, George Plume and Robert Plume; and her brother-in-law Carl Cookson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy O'Hara (Robert), Anne Carson (Mack), Tina Sellick (David) and Robert Cookson (Starr); her grandchildren, Kerensa Turner (Josh), Nic O'Hara (Valerie), Alison Carson (Bj), Julie Carson (Aaron), Tyler Sellick (Chelsea), Jill Ames (Jarrett), Sam and Ben Cookson; her great grandchildren, Isabelle Turner, Brody Williams and Tessa Ames; her siblings, Margaret Cookson and Mike Plume (Sylvia); and her sisters-in-law, Eileen Plume and Shelley Dickens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
