She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Shirley and Mary Ellen Shirley (Agnew); her stepson Ken Aitken; and her siblings, Kathleen "Kay", Elva, Dorothy "Dot", Rita, Margaret "Peggy", Grace, Betty, Manfield, Robert "Bobby" and Kenny.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald James Aitken; her children, Carol Daine (Gerald) of Oromocto, NB and Chris Aitken (Cindy) of Halifax, NS; her stepdaughters, Lucy Lambert (Mike) of Powell River, BC and Michelle Engle; her grandchildren, Hannah Aitken and Blake Daine; her sisters, Jessie Vienneau of Minto, NB and Isobel Barratt of Minto, NB; and her aunt Shirley Sands of Minto, NB. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
