She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Henderson (Dunn) and Charles Henderson; her husband George Sutherland; her sons, David Sutherland and Dr. George Sutherland; and her close friend Dan Ingham.
She is survived by: her sons, Calvin Sutherland of Fredericton, NB and Michael Sutherland (Patti) of Belle River, ON; her granddaughters, Alexis Sutherland of Edmonton, AB and Jade Sutherland of Belle River, ON; and her sister Joan Richters of Windsor, ON. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Fredericton SPCA.
