It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Grace Murphy (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James MacNaughton and Mabel MacNaughton (Sherwood); her siblings, Earle MacNaughton and Doreen Gallant; her siblings-in-law, Cleo Gallant and Betty MacNaughton; and her great grandchild Carter Merrill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Murphy (Jean Martin) of Fredericton and Janice McNeill (Brent) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Krista Merrill, Corey Merrill (Sarah), Courtney Shaw (Jeff), Erin MacLean (Dave) and Andrew McNeill (Kelsie); her great grandchildren, Joshua, Amanda Tahlia, Layah, Isabella, Morgan, Matthew, Katelyn and Wyatt; her close friend Betty Flanagan; and her nieces, Karen Fagan, Cathy Bernard and MaryBeth Shean.
Due to COVID19 concerns, there will be a private graveside service in Douglas Rural Cemetery, at a later date.
