He is survived by: his wife Marie Josephine Pelkey (Ackerson); his children, Janet Rees of Stanley, NB, Cheryl O'Neal (Aden) of Perth Andover, NB, Allan Pelkey of Lincoln, NB, Michael Pelkey of Lincoln, NB and Shane Hoyt (Heidi) of Fredericton, NB; his stepchildren, Kevin Chase (Sylvia) of Fredericton, NB and Debbie Gill (late Robert) of Fredericton, NB; and his siblings, Vera Sullivan, James Pelkey (Dorothy) of Perth Andover, NB, Gary Pelkey (Linda) of Perth Andover, NB, Graydon Pelkey of Perth Andover, NB and Donald Pelkey (Debbie) of Perth Andover, NB. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
