She was predeceased by: her husband William Havelock Gillen; her parents, Mary Alice (Ogden) and Norris Whitehead; her children, Deborah Ives and Patrick Gillen; her granddaughter Lyndsay Gillen; and her siblings, Nellie Lawson and Arthur Whitehead.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Brown (Mike), Shannon Daniels (Nick), Kelly Waugh (Peter), Lawrence Gillen (Susan) and Michael Gillen (Kary); and her sister Jean Podetz. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
