He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand MacDonald and Helena MacDonald (McCluskey); his son Darren MacDonald; and his brother Red MacDonald. He is survived by: his wife Nancy MacDonald; his daughters, Crystal MacDonald, Linda Boucher (Anthony) and Janice Rickard (Davie); his grandchildren, Lexi, Nathan, Alana and Jill; his siblings, Anne McMahon (Mel), Sherry Wheaton (Bobby), Bernice Campbell (Donnie) and Walter Norrad; and his brother-in-law Gerald Essensa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
