He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Drost and Miriam Drost (Cronkhite); his brothers, Brian Drost and Wayne Drost; and his granddaughter Ava-Lei Drost.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Drost; his children, Shannon Thornton (Ryan), Calvin Drost and Michael Drost (Tasha); his grandchildren, Dylan, Carter Thornton, Damian, Aiden Drost, Paige McHatten, Mia, Kydon and Ryker Drost; his siblings, Laverne Drost (Brenda), Roger Drost, Bernard Drost (Ann), Crystal Dore (Sherwin), Janice Drost and Charlene Drost; his sister-in-law Linda; and his nephew Bernard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
