She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Reid and Emma Kay Yeazel; her former husband Ronald Buchanan; and her sister Marlene Brown. She is survived by: her husband Donald Gould; her children, James Buchanan (Vivian), Daniel Buchanan, David Buchanan (Annie), Lisa Gorham (Stephen) and Anna Scott (Craig); her grandchildren, Connor, Kirk, Ray, Nixie, Johnathan, Carolyn, Thomas, Danial, Jacob and Caleb; and her brothers, Edward (Linda) and Charles.
In remembrance of Dixie, donations can be made to the Fredericton Food Bank or the Fredericton Emergency Shelter, both of these organizations were near and dear to her heart.
