He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Mae Gillrie (Whitman). He is survived by: his children, Catherine (Michael), Kevin (Owena) and Steven (Susan); his grandchildren, David, Christine, Daniel, James, Francesca, Derek and Adam; and his siblings, Jean and Robert.
