He was predeceased by: his wife Judy (Peacock); his parents, Olivia Thorne (Lib Kierstead) and Harry Thorne; his son Neil Thorne; and his parents-in-law, Don and Phyllis Peacock (Maxwell).

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Carole Peacock of Fredericton and Debbie (Bob Seymour) of Fredericton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
