He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Delisca Prince (Brideau); his parents, Edwin Prince and Alma Prince (Dickinson); his daughters, Stephanie (John Robichaud), Pamela (Dale McGivney) and Natalie (Jody Kaye); his grandchildren, Brittanie, Courtney, Lyndsay, Josh Hallett, Nicole Weaver and Brooklyn Prince; and his niece Gail Wright. He was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins.

Daryl was an active member of rural planning committees, the Alzheimer's Society, Solid Waste Commission, Jemseg Fire Department and various other organization throughout the years.
