He is survived by: his wife Heather (LaBrie); his children, Erik Jack of Fredericton, Kyle John of Fredericton and Taylor Rita of Fredericton; his parents, Ralph Shears and Janet Shears (Holmdon) of Fredericton; his sister Susan Bishop (George) of Bellville, ON; his nephew Matthew of Calgary; his niece Kelsey of Kingston, NS.; his parents-in-law, Jack and Yvonne Murphy (LaBrie) of Chipman; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Murphy-Christopher (Galen) of Bermuda and John Murphy of Chipman. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
