She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Poitras and Gemma Poitras (Gagnon). She is survived by: her husband Donald "Bab" Cassista; her sons, Deny Cassista (Monica) and Eric Cassista (Sarah); and her granddaughters, Jasmine, Sophia, Isabella and Olivia. She is also survived by 5 sisters; 3 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
