He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Young (McManus); his parents, Robert Young and Margaret Young (MacDonald); his siblings, Shirley Gray, Henry Young and Fred Young; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Young and Louise Young.
He is survived by: his children, Brent Phillips, Joseph Young, Bonnie MacPherson (Laurie), Lori Phillips (Linwood Stevens) and Peggy McCutcheon (Steven); his grandchildren, Alicia, Mitchell, Sierra, Neal and Harmony; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Joshua, Ellie May, Annabelle, River, Denver and Arlo; his brother Ted Young; and his brother-in-law Alvin Gray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
